This antenna has optimal range for racing and the streamlined design is for discreet installation. Features a four-inch "shark fin" design with a durable brass base. Enhances radio system performance with a 3dB gain, extending the communication range. Installation requires a 3/4" hole.  Compatible with radios operating within the 450-470 MHz range. This antenna is purchased with the SCC-1251 (for metal body)  and the ANT-CABLE(for composite body) to connect with the Shark Fin antenna with a CM300, CM200 with the cmcrimp or hand held R2 radio with the antcrimp.  Speedcom techs can cut the antenna cable to a customized length and add the appropriate connector.
